ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – CLOUDWATER BREW

This is a key role with the opportunity to extend contract duration primarily supporting the smooth running of the purchase ledger function and ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, as well as support across the wider finance team with transactional processes such as credit card/expense processing, cash book reconciliations and other ad hoc tasks.

Hours: 6-10 hours per week (over one or two shifts)

Working Pattern: Set day, between Monday–Friday

Location: Office-based (non-remote)

Salary: £14.36 – £16.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

You’ll support the creation, preparation and delivery of digital media content, from long form recordings and live sessions through to short form social outputs. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys being hands on with content, is curious about the technical side of media, and wants to learn how creative ideas turn into real, published outputs.

No previous experience is required, just enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to learn.

  • Finding contributors: Helping to find and interview contributors who take part in programmes.
  • Assisting on location: You may be required to help out on a shoot whether in the studio or on location. Travel may be required.

Trainee Board Chair:

As part of our Advisory Board the Trainee Chair will develop their skills in chairing board meetings with our existing Chair and move on to becoming the Advisory Board Chair over the next 12 months. The Chair plays an integral role in supporting the mission, vision and values of Reform Radio. The successful applicant will need to commit to eight Advisory Board evening meetings over 24 months, as well as quarterly meetings to review & organise regular reporting.

EARLY CAREER PROMOTER FUND – PRS FOUNDATION

Early Career Promoter Fund recognises the vital role independent promoters play in supporting the talent pipeline across England, and offers grant funding and capacity building support, with the aim of bolstering the local, regional and national ecosystems.

Grants of up to £3,500 will be available to support a range of activity, including:

  • The booking, programming and promotion of gigs, concerts, club nights, showcases, tours and other performances
  • Costs associated with those activities (including venue hire, production, artist and/or DJ fees, crew fees, administration and other related costs)
  • Capacity building (including mentoring, coaching, shadowing, workshops, masterclasses, and other skill building and networking opportunities)
  • Other expenditure which helps grantees to programme a diverse range of artists, develop new audiences and build their skills

The fund aims to help emerging promoters to do what they do best – book and promote shows to develop scenes, support artists and DJs and to reach and engage audiences locally, regionally, and nationally, and build sustainable careers in the grassroots music sector. Those receiving support will be able to step up to book and promote talent at a scale beyond their current level, and build their capacity, skills and networks.
