There is an exciting opportunity to join the Reform Radio team Manchester as our new Exec Producer. We’re a growing Community Interest Company, production company and award-winning radio station, dedicated to supporting young adults to access cultural opportunities and career pathways in the creative industries.
As part of our Production Team the Exec Producer will work predominately on our weekly BBC Radio 6 Music show, as well as across other ad hoc projects with the BBC and partners as they arise. We are ideally looking for someone based in Manchester or willing to travel, who can help with studio cover and production team resilience when required but are open to this being more remote for the right candidate. We’re looking for someone with previous Exec Producer experience, ideally at 6 Music, but work across other BBC networks will also be considered. Thorough understanding and experience of BBC systems and compliance is essential, as well as good knowledge and understanding of the music, output and editorial direction of 6 Music.
Hours: 8 hours a week – This role is a fixed term until October 2026, with a view to renew in line with BBC contacts for another year, until October 2027.
Salary: £40k – £44.7k depending on experience, pro rata (FTE 0.2)
