Peshkar are seeking artists across disciplines under the age of 30 who have an interest in working in a participatory way and an interest in digital practice, although experience in these areas is not essential, this is an opportunity for you to explore, develop, learn and accelerate.
There are no limits to artform, they are interested in anyone from theatre, dance, music, visual arts, digital arts and beyond. All they ask is that you have some big ideas and are looking to develop your practice in participatory and digital environments.
The selected composers will work with service users in frontline homelessness settings, such as hostels, day centres or refuges, to co-create the words and music for a micro-opera lasting approximately three minutes. Created collaboratively over a series of five sessions, each of these pieces will tell a complete story.

In this online session, Noni-Mouse from Sound of Women will introduce us to FOLKSOUL – a cultural preservation project documenting the oral traditions of women in rural North India and merging them with contemporary expression.
