Arts Council have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and user‑focused Product Manager to join them and work on Illuminate, Arts Council England’s audience data and insights programme. This role sits within the Insights Department, working collaboratively with Product Managers across the organisation.

You will play a key role in ensuring Illuminate and its supporting materials continue to evolve in line with user needs – actively listening, gathering and synthesising feedback, and turning insight into clear, prioritised improvements. Alongside this, you’ll support and empower users, and close the feedback loop by communicating enhancements clearly – building trust, confidence and sustained engagement with the platform.

You will oversee the day‑to‑day operation of Illuminate, ensuring it delivers real value for both external and internal users throughout the project. This includes responsibility for service design and development support, content design, training and support, communications, and accessibility. Working closely with the supplier, you will help ensure development is well designed, feasible and delivered at pace. You will work closely with the Senior Manager to strengthen stakeholder engagement and drive the effective use of audience data and insights.

Based at Aviva Studios, you’ll go behind the scenes of how work is made for Manchester International Festival 2027 (MIF27) – one of the world’s leading international festivals. Over 12 months, you’ll be embedded within Factory International, gaining direct access to commissions, creative teams and the decision-making processes that shape large-scale, ambitious work.

Each Fellow will be paired with a Producer, allowing real insight into how projects are developed and delivered. You’ll also take part in structured sessions with the wider Producing team, exploring the core skills, knowledge and realities of producing across art forms.

This is a chance to experience MIF from the inside while pushing forward your own creative practice. You’ll have workspace, opportunities to engage with specialist teams and the chance to pitch a new idea for the Public Realm programme.

The role focuses on managing both hard and soft services across the venue, overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), inspections and reactive repairs, and supporting the delivery of HOME’s full programme by ensuring all facilities are fit for purpose.

The role includes line managing the Cleaning Team, managing cleaning provision and waste services, and liaising with external contractors and service providers. The Facilities Manager will also work closely with the Customer Service team and the wider Operations Team to maintain high standards of building presentation, safety and compliance, and to support smooth day-to-day venue operations.
