Black Creative Trailblazers (BCT) is inviting Black-led organisations and community groups in Manchester to take part in Black Stories Matter, a community project celebrating and preserving the stories of the people and organisations shaping our city.
Across Manchester, Black-led organisations are creating opportunities, supporting communities, preserving culture and building spaces where people can connect, thrive and belong. Yet many of these stories remain undocumented or underrepresented in the city’s social and cultural history.
Black Stories Matter aims to change this by documenting and celebrating the experiences of 12 Black-led organisations and community groups through photography and video captured by our incredible photographers and filmmakers
